Our commitment to fair and transparent refund practices

1. Application Fees
Submitting an application for any of our distinction categories is entirely complimentary. There is no charge for creating an account, submitting an application, or undergoing our evaluation process. You are only required to make a payment if your application is approved and you choose to claim your verified credential.
2. Verification Fee — Non-Refundable
The one-time verification fee (ranging from $99 to $299 depending on the category tier) is charged upon your decision to claim your verified credential after approval. This fee covers the issuance of your digital badge, creation of your dedicated verification portal, blockchain authentication, inclusion in our global winners directory, and all associated digital services. Once a credential has been issued, the verification fee is non-refundable, as the digital services are immediately rendered and cannot be reversed.
3. Lifetime Award — No Recurring Fees
All verified credentials are conferred for life with a single, one-time investment. There are no annual renewal fees, subscription charges, or recurring obligations. Your verification portal, badge, directory listing, and blockchain record remain permanently active at no additional cost.
4. Optional Add-On Purchases
Refund eligibility for optional add-on purchases is as follows:
- Digital Certificates ($29): Non-refundable once the digital file has been generated and delivered.
- Framed Certificates ($99): Refundable if the order is cancelled before shipment. Once shipped, refunds are only provided if the item arrives damaged. Contact us within 7 days of receipt with photographic evidence.
- Crystal Trophies ($199): Refundable if cancelled before production begins (within 48 hours of purchase). Once production has commenced or the item has shipped, refunds are available only for damaged items. Contact us within 7 days of receipt.
- Press Releases ($249): Refundable if cancelled before the press release has been drafted (within 72 hours of purchase). Once the draft has been shared or distributed, refunds are not available.
5. Exceptions & Special Circumstances
We may consider a refund in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Duplicate Payment: If you are accidentally charged more than once for the same service, the duplicate charge will be fully refunded.
- Technical Error: If a payment was processed due to a technical error on our platform, a full refund will be issued.
- Credential Revocation by Us: If we revoke a credential for reasons not attributable to the credential holder (e.g., an error in our evaluation), a prorated refund may be issued at our discretion.
Refund requests based on dissatisfaction with the evaluation outcome (declined applications) are not applicable, as there is no charge for declined applications.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:
- Your full name and email address associated with your account
- The PayPal transaction ID or payment reference
- The date of purchase
- A detailed description of the reason for your refund request
Email your request to info@trustedbusinessawards.com with the subject line “Refund Request.” We will review your request and respond within 5–7 business days. Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 10–14 business days.
7. Consumer Protection Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If local law provides you with greater refund protections than outlined here, those protections shall prevail.
